Paddy McCarron

Paddy McCarron is a Director for GBA Projects with experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Civil industries. Paddy, with a BEng Honours degree in Civil Engineering, has gained extensive experience here in Australia and overseas in his roles as Senior Scheduler and Project Controller.

Through many site-based roles in Ireland, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, Paddy is highly competent in the management of building and civil works and the planning and scheduling of various projects. His experience extends across a number of industry sectors including Shutdown of Mechanical Plants, Renewable Energy, Utilities & Services Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Civil Construction and Building Construction leaving his services in high demand.

Paddy has made a significant impact across a range of high profile national and international projects and turnarounds, working with key clients such as BHP, Beach Energy and Incitec Pivot.

Paddy has provided scheduling support to numerous plant turnarounds in Queensland and the Cooper Basin often going above and beyond providing engineering support for capital projects, emergent works and more. Paddy’s knowledge, experience and skill make him a strong addition to the GBA Projects team.
